About the event
On November 14-16, 2023, a training seminar for central securities depositories of the AECSD, organized by Central Securities Depository JSC, will be held in Almaty.
The main topics of this year's seminar will be IT-architecture of central securities depositories (CSD), CSDs’ business continuity plan, providing access to local capital markets and tax functions, executed by CSDs.
The Seminar participants will have an opportunity to take part in the International Exchange Forum on the "Role of Exchanges in Transformation of Financial Markets" devoted to the 30th Anniversary of Kazakhstan Stock Exchange JSC which will take place on November 16.
In turn, the international exchange forum brings together the world's leading experts of capital markets, heads of Kazakhstan's financial organizations, authorized regulators, issuers, exchanges, professional exchange associations, IT companies and other stakeholders.
The financial events in Kazakhstan this year coincide with the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the national currency - Tenge. This important event demonstrates the maturity and stability of the country's economy and is also a reason to be proud of the accomplishments that have been made over the past years.
An opportunity to expand their business network, keep abreast of the latest trends and innovations in the securities market, share experience and knowledge, and discuss current issues and prospects of the financial sector with professionals from different countries is provided to the AECSD seminar participants.

* Due to the possible heavy precipitation in November in the mountainous area of Almaty, it is recommended to wear several layers of warm clothing, including thermal underwear, for a trip to the Medeu high-altitude skating rink and the Shymbulak ski resort. According to Decree No. 27 of the Chief State Sanitary Inspector of Kazakhstan dated 07.06.2022, starting from June 8, 2022, the mandatory requirement for citizens of Kazakhstan and foreigners to provide documentary proof of vaccination or revaccination against COVID-19 (passport/certificate of vaccination against COVID-19) when entering Kazakhstan through all border crossing points or certificate with negative result for COVID-19 by PCR method in the absence of such passport/certificate is CANCELLED.
