He was born on 15 October 1952 in Tbilisi.

Education:

1969-1974 - Tbilisi State University, Faculty of physics, specialized in theoretical physics.

1980-1984 PhD, the Head geophysics observatory of USSR, Leningrad.

1987 - Candidate of Science in physics and mathematics.

1994 - Seminar on investment activities in Tbilisi School of Management

1997 - 1999 Barent's Group LLC seminars on banking, financial risk management, strategic planning, accounting, etc.

Working experience:

Since 1999 - Director of the Georgian Central Securities Depository

Since 1998 - Director of Trading on Georgian Stock Exchange

Since 1998 - Deputy Chairman of the Board of Association of Georgian Securities Industry.

1997-1998 - Head of Securities Department CB “Tbilkombank”

1992-1997 - Deputy General Director of JSC “Kavkaz Exchange”, Exchange School Director,

1996 - Editor-in-chief of newspaper “Securities exchange”,

1991-1992 - Director of brokerage firm No. 128/1.

 Author of more than 50 scientific works and some publications in periodicals;

Co-author of the book "Basics of exchange business" (Tbilisi 1996);

Co-author of the book "Exchange business and securities market" (Tbilisi, 1998).;

Author of the text book "Investment fundamentals" (2005)
